Free tier · 3 bean profiles · PNG / SVG export
Catalog of all 21 templates — one bean profile fills every cell.
The 21-SKU template catalog
Three coffee-specific product types × three layouts × two or three sizes. Every cell is a print-ready template. One bean profile fills them all.
Round brand seal · 6 SKUs
The 2 to 3 inch round sticker on the front of the bag. Logo, optional compact SCA flavor wheel, optional roast date stamp.
Rectangular info label · 9 SKUs
The back-of-bag info sticker. Origin, farm, processing, altitude, roast date, brew recipe — everything the customer reads at home.
Bean info card · 6 SKUs
A6 or US 4×6 insert card. The "story" piece for direct-to-consumer orders, café shelf displays, and wholesale samples. Flagship layout features the full SCA wheel.
Total: 21 print-ready SKUs per bean profile. Compare with the typical roastery's "we have one info-label template our designer made in 2019" baseline.
How auto-fill actually works
A traditional coffee bag template is a Photoshop or Illustrator file with named text layers. To use it, you open Photoshop, click each layer, retype the new bean's info, and re-export. For one template that's tolerable. For 21 templates, every release, it's how a small roastery loses two hours per launch.
Profilo inverts the workflow. The bean profile is the source of truth; the template is just a layout. When you save a profile (origin: Yirgacheffe, processing: washed, roast: light-medium, tasting notes: bergamot, lemon zest, jasmine, raw honey), all 21 templates instantly have the data they need. You pick the SKU you want, hit export, and the renderer does the layout work.
The fields that auto-flow into every template:
- Coffee name + roaster name — header on every layout
- Origin country, region, farm, varietal, altitude — info blocks
- Processing method, roast level — badge or pill on every layout
- Tasting notes — drives the SCA flavor wheel rendering, lit-leaf colors, and the descriptor list
- Brew recipe — appears on layouts that include the brew block
- Public profile QR code — generated from the public-profile short URL
- Brand color, logo, company name — pulled from your brand settings
Change the tasting notes after the next cupping → re-export all 21 templates → reprint what needs reprinting. The data ↔ design loop closes in seconds, not days.
Profilo templates vs. Canva, Placeit, and Etsy template packs
Honest comparison. Each tool wins something. Pick the one that matches the job you actually have.
| Capability | Profilo | Canva | Placeit | Etsy template packs |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Auto-fill from bean profile | Yes | Manual edit per bag | Manual edit per bag | Manual edit per bag |
| SCA flavor wheel rendered from data | Yes | No | No | Static PNG only |
| Templates per coffee in one click | 21 | 1 | 1 | 1 |
| Coffee-specific template depth | 100% coffee | ~200 in 100K library | ~100 in 100K library | Per-pack |
| Print-ready PNG / SVG / PDF | Yes (300 dpi) | Pro tier only | Yes | PSD / Canva file |
| Cost (small roaster, monthly) | $0–$19.99 | $0–$13 | $15 | $10–40 one-time per pack |
When to pick an Etsy template pack instead: if you want a one-off hand-illustrated style and you only have one or two coffees, an Etsy designer's pack is a lovely choice. Where it breaks down is when you have 12 coffees rotating through the lineup and need them all to stay consistent.
FAQ
What is a coffee bag template?
A pre-built layout for one of the printable elements that goes on a specialty coffee bag — round brand seal, rectangular info label, hangtag, bean info card. Good templates are parametric: you supply the data (origin, processing, tasting notes) and the template renders a print-ready file.
How many templates do you offer?
21 SKUs in v1 — three product types (round sticker, rectangular sticker, bean card), three layouts per product, two or three sizes per layout. Every template auto-fills from the same single bean profile, so all 21 stay in sync when the lot changes.
Do these templates work with my printer?
Yes. Sizes match common roastery print specs (3 inch round, 2.5×4 inch rectangle, A6, US 4×6) and exports are PNG at 300 dpi or SVG for vector workflows. Print houses accept either.
Can I edit the templates?
You can toggle individual elements on and off (QR code, roast date stamp, brew recipe, attribute bars) and pick from three layout variants per product. For pixel-level control, export as SVG and edit in Illustrator.
Is the SCA flavor wheel included on every template?
Where it makes sense — yes. Every product includes at least one layout that features the SCA flavor wheel rendered from your selected tasting notes. The bean card flagship layout (wheel-hero) shows the full 110-leaf wheel; the round seal includes a compact wheel mark.
